Paul has over 30 years' experience of company and commercial work, including more than 20 years
as a Collyer Bristow partner. He is now Head of the Corporate and Commercial Department at Collyer
Bristow. In that time he has set up many companies (and wound up a few!), established and funded
all types of joint ventures, trading and property, and bought and sold a lot of companies and
businesses. He also advises on security and funding arrangements, and share options schemes. More
recently he has worked on establishing of Internet and E-commerce businesses and computer and IT
related contracts.
Paul's clients include both owner-managed businesses and subsidiaries of some well-known public
companies.
The route to Collyer Bristow
Paul studied classics and law at Magdalene College, Cambridge. He trained with the firm which is
now the Clifford in Clifford Chance. He gained commercial experience with Stephenson Harwood, then
worked for international clients with Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong and London before joining
Collyer Bristow in 1989.
