Brenda is a member of our Employment team. She acts for both employers and employees from a broad range of industries including hospitality and leisure, transport, broadcasting and education. Brenda advises on the whole spectrum of employment law issues including redundancy, misconduct, discrimination, sickness absence, bullying and harassment and TUPE and has particular expertise advising on post-termination restrictions. She works hard to successfully resolve employer/employee disputes but when that is not possible, she guides clients through the Employment Tribunal and High Court processes. Brenda also regularly drafts employment contracts and service agreements, handbooks and policies; she advises employers with their ad-hoc queries and provides in-house training to clients on all areas of employment law. Brenda works closely with her employer clients to understand their business so that she can provide practical and commercial advice and guides her employee clients through what is often a difficult and emotional process.
Brenda is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association.
