Stephen Critchley quoted in The Law Society Gazette commenting on the MasterCard claim decision

The Competition Appeal Tribunal dismissed a claim against MasterCard brought on behalf of 46 million people who were alleged to have suffered the consequences of 'multi lateral interchange fees' charged to banks and merchants. 

However, competition specialists emphasise that this isn't the end for large group actions. Stephen Critchley maintains that there are still many options for pursuing claims and that the next test will be the proposed class action against the European trucks cartel.
