Secretary – Real Estate Litigation

Collyer Bristow LLP is a leading mid-tier law firm with offices in London and Geneva. We provide a comprehensive legal service to a wide range of businesses and private individuals. Our client base includes multinationals, public and private companies, partnerships, public sector organisations and private clients.

We have a vacancy for an experienced legal secretary to support our Real Estate Litigation team which is part of our Commercial Services Department. You will provide full secretarial and administrative support to a minimum of three lawyers. Candidates will be expected to undertake a full range of secretarial duties including digital and copy typing, opening & closing files, obtaining billing guides and preparing draft bills, filing and e-filing, maintaining diaries including organising and scheduling meetings, booking lunches, training courses and managing queries from clients as required.  Where necessary you will also be required to provide additional support to secretarial and fee earner staff within the firm.

You should be pro-active, motivated and keen to be a part of the team and support the fee earners.  You must have the ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative to manage a very busy workload. You should be proficient in Microsoft office applications, in particular Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and possess fast, accurate typing (minimum 70 wpm) and excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Previous experience of supporting at least 3 fee earners and working in a dispute resolution department is required. 

Normal working hours are 9.30 am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday but candidates must be prepared to work outside contractual hours as and when required.
