Mock Employment Tribunal - 17 October 2013

15 Feb 2013

Our lawyers are currently acting for numerous clients concerning the issue of phone hacking. There are a number of means by which we can help to obtain evidence of these activities. In particular, for those who were of interest to the tabloid media between 2002 and 2006, their details may be within the papers that were seized by the Metropolitan Police from the private investigator and News of the World at that time.

An Employment Tribunal case can be a costly, time-consuming and stressful experience, especially if you don't know what to expect.

The Collyer Bristow employment team, in conjunction with Old Square Chambers, will be presenting a full interactive mock Tribunal, chaired by an Employment Judge. Based on a real case study, the mock Tribunal will include a claim form and response, witness statements, cross-examination of witnesses from both parties and, before lunch, the Employment Judge will deliver her judgment based on the evidence heard and you will be given the opportunity to help decide the outcome.

You will learn all about the various aspects of an Employment Tribunal case and - should you wish - will get the chance to participate in the proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to ask the Collyer Bristow team and the barristers from Old Square Chambers any questions you may have about the Employment Tribunal process.

We look forward to seeing you there.
