PRESS RELEASE: Collyer Bristow LLP advises John Brown Media on sale

London-based law firm Collyer Bristow has advised the Management Team of leading content marketing operator John Brown Media on the sale of the business to Dentsu Aegis Network.

The acquisition by Dentsu, the world’s fourth largest advertising agency, was completed for an undisclosed amount.

Commenting on the deal Andrew Hirsch, Chief Executive of John Brown Media said “Ragavan and the team at Collyer Bristow were highly professional, and worked tirelessly to complete this complex transaction”.

The Collyer Bristow team was led by Ragavan Arunachalam (Corporate and Commercial), supported by Robert Andrews, James Kearns and Nichola Leach, along with Alex O’Connor (Real Estate), Patrick Wheeler (IP) and Gwyneth Williams (Employment).

Olswang represented Dentsu Aegis Network, with Travers Smith acting for the Private Equity seller.
