Nigel is a partner in our Corporate and Commercial team. He specialises in supporting financial services, FinTech and broader technology based firms with their corporate commercial and regulatory requirements. He is also a leading blockchain lawyer. Nigel has particular expertise in financial services regulatory and transactional matters, with a focus on MiFID II, Senior Managers Regime, general perimeter guidance as well as the regulatory aspects of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). Nigel advises on OTC & Exchange traded derivatives and brokerage, including ISDA Master Agreements, terms of business, brokerage documentation and advises trading and communications platforms as well as litigations funders.

Nigel also advises on corporate matters, including seed and Series A fund raising rounds, acquisitions and disposals with a particular focus on the technology and financial services sectors. He has worked on numerous commercial collaboration arrangements and joint ventures in the technology and trading space and has a specific interest in the application of Blockchain, Bitcoin and Al to financial services and commodities markets.
